The role of Principal Designer is a specialised one. Part of the role is to provide information and to ensure co-operation and co-ordination of all parties. Other specific duties include but are not limited to are:
Notification of the project.
Co-ordinate health and safety aspects of the design.
Identify, collect and pass on the Pre-construction Information.
Prepare, update the Health and safety File and pass to the Client.
